LG Back-to-School Monitor Deals – Newegg Offering Additional 10 Percent Off with Promo Code

LG Back-to-School Monitor Deals - Newegg Offering Additional 10 Percent Off with Promo CodeWith the new school year on the horizon, back-to-school specials are adding up on retail sites. Yes, it’s possible to get a discount on practically any type of tech product any time of the year, but when it comes to desktop or laptop computers, the deals are seldom better than they are in back-to-school specials.

But unlike other companies that offer laptops and desktops for the most part, Newegg’s own back-to-school discount campaigns also include monitors, and if you’re looking to upgrade your PC with a new monitor or swap your old one for a new product, now’s the time to get cracking. And by that we don’t mean “hitting the books” as students would have to do when the school year begins; we mean heading over to the Newegg website and checking out its back-to-school LG monitor deals.

The deals we shall be recapping on his report are net of the additional 10 percent discount Newegg is offering – entering the promo code “LGEBTS” would get you that extra 10 percent off, so don’t forget to enter that upon checkout in order to take advantage of the additional discount. That said, the LG 20M35D-B 20-inch widescreen LCD monitor comes with display resolution of 1600 x 900, and supports both D-Sub and DVI-D, and as this is a simple, smaller monitor, it’s also quite affordable – regular pricing is $129.99, while discount pricing is $94.99 without the aforementioned 10 percent bonus price cut.

Looking for something larger but still on the affordable side of things? The LG 23MP55HQ-P monitor has Full HD (1920 x 1080) display resolution, and will only cost you $139.99, or $60 off the original price of $199.99. Another similar-sized monitor, the LG 24M34D-B, has a 23.6-inch screen size, D-Sub and DVI-D support and 1920 x 1080 resolution, and costs $144.99, down from the original $199.99. But what if you want to go even bigger than that?

Buyers in the market for a 27-30-inch monitor have a few options available, including the LG 27MP65HQ, which is a 27-inch LCD monitor with 1920 x 1080 resolution, and D-Sub and HDMI support. Pricing (again, without the additional 10 percent discount) is $279.99, making it $80 cheaper than the original price of $359.99.

Moving up higher in the pricing scale, the LG 29UM65 has a 29-inch display, Dual HDMI, DVI-D and DisplayPort as key features, and 2560 x 1080 resolution, as well as built-in speakers. You’d normally have to pay $599.99 for the item, but Newegg now offers it for $419.99, or $180/30 percent off full retail pricing.

Last, but not the least, LG’s 34-inch Dual HDMI UltraWide LED Backlight LCD monitor comes with built-in speakers, display resolution of 2560 x 1080, and HDMI and DisplayPort support as key specs and features and normally sells for a premium price of $749.99. That’s an arm and a leg as far as monitors go, but Newegg has it discounted for $70 off, or only $679.99. Figure in the 10 percent discount for entering the promo code and you pay less than $615 for this item, which isn’t bad at all considering the original price tag.
