In a couple weeks it will no longer be Samsung’s flagship phone, but owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 can make use of a special extended battery that supposedly provides four extra days of battery life.
Reports claim that the ZeroLemon Samsung Galaxy S3 Extended Battery, a 7,000 mAh accessory, is capable of offering all that, even when subjecting the Galaxy S3 to intense processes such as gaming. This is a huge battery, supposedly the largest created for the Galaxy S3, and would fit in the back of the device. That would make the Galaxy S3 quite heavy, but a plastic case comes with the pack in order to make the device at least look more presentable.
The ZeroLemon Galaxy S3 case for the battery is offered in white, blue and black flavors, and also supports NFC. Pricing is set at $32.99 on Amazon, which isn’t that much considering all that additional battery juice you can get from the accessory.
Although, there are obvious debits to owning the 7,000 mAh ZeroLemon battery, such as the Galaxy S3 becoming bulkier, 7,000 mAh is considerably more than the 4,200 mAh on the Hyperion extended battery for the Galaxy S3 released in 2012. That particular accessory provides two days extra battery life.
Samsung’s official extended battery was released in December2012, and provides even less – just 3,000 mAh, which should be good for only an additional day’s worth of use.
