Samsung HDTV Deals Take Center Stage in Newegg’s Electronics SpecialsHigh-definition television sets have always been a staple of consumer electronics deals, but these items tend to be less popular than smartphones and tablets. Why? First, flagship phones and tablet PCs are all over the news, with rumors and leaks on upcoming devices typically drawing the most attention. Secondly, HDTVs typically cost $1,000 or more, and not everyone has that money to spend on a new television set, regardless of the obvious advantages of owning an HDTV set.

While it’s still true that HDTVs are still much more expensive than the average tablet or on-contract phone, Newegg can actually help you save on a new set from Samsung. So if you’d just turn your attention away from the Galaxy Alpha/Galaxy Note 4 or Galaxy Tab S, here are some of those Samsung HDTV specials on Newegg.

The Samsung HDTV with model number UN60H7150 comes with a 60-inch display, 1080p resolution, a 240 Hz refresh rate, 3D support, and smart features, and it can be yours for $1,897.99 – consider that that represents a 14 percent/$302 discount off the original price of $2,199.99. Other basic specifications and features include a 16:9 aspect ratio, four HDMI-in ports, and a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080, or Full HD.

Buyers who want to go larger than 60 inches and get an HDTV much like the one we mentioned above can opt for the Samsung UN65H7150, which has the exact same specifications and features found on the aforementioned 60-incher, but with a 65-inch display. Pricing has been reduced to $2,197.99, or 19 percent/$502 off the original selling price of $2,699.99.

The 75-inch version, which carries model number UN75H7150, costs $3,797.99, though that’s just 5 percent/$202 less than the original price of $3,999.99. If you want to go smaller, the 46-inch UN46H7150 also comes with the same specs and features, but with a smaller display and a lower sale/list price – regular pricing is $1,499.99, while sale pricing is $1,297.99, or 13 percent/$202 less than regular full retail pricing.

Over in the curved LED HDTV space, options include the Samsung UN48H8000, which costs $1,597.99 (reg. price $1,999.99, 20 percent off), and comes with 1080p support, a 240 Hz refresh rate, and 3D/smart features.

The 65-inch version of the device, of course, is substantially more expensive, but it’s also selling at a decent discount. Specs, once again, include 1080p Full HD video and a 240 Hz refresh rate, while this larger TV also has 3D-related and smart features. Pricing is now $2,697.99, a 21 percent/$702 price cut off the original price, which was once at $3,399.99.

Probably you’ve been wondering where the 4K HDTV deals are. Does Samsung have any TV sets with 4K Ultra HD support on Newegg’s Samsung HDTV deals page? The answer is a resounding yes, and your options include the Samsung UN65HU8550, which comes with a 65-inch display, 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 3D/smart features. Pricing was once a rather premium $4,999.99, but you can purchase this TV for the unbelievable discount of 40 percent, or only $2,997.99 at today’s prices.
