Xbox One Game Deals Continue After Green Monday

Xbox One Game Deals Continue After Green MondayCompared to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Green Monday isn’t exactly a great time to search for big discounts on tech items, but it still came with a number of exciting offers for tech shoppers, including several deals on Xbox One games. But even with Green Monday over, you can still save on these Xbox One titles, as some of America’s leading retailers are still offering these deals as of this writing.

Last week, Dell quietly launched a series of Xbox One game specials, which includes Microsoft’s own homebrews, or first-party titles – these include Forza Horizon 2, Ryse: Son of Rome – Legendary Edition, and Forza 5 – Game of the Year Edition. For 48 hours from the time the deals kick off, which should mean until tomorrow morning, you’ll be paying $39.99 for each of these titles, or $10 to $20 off their list price. Not only that, you’ll also receive a $25 Dell Promo eGift Card, which can be used toward future purchases at the Dell online store. There are no hidden catches or twists to this deal, no “smoke and mirrors” tactics – the price cuts are straight-up cash discounts, and separate from the gift cards.

Buyers will receive the Dell eGift cards within 10 to 20 days of their purchase, and would have up to 90 days to use the cards against purchases. Other games selling for $39.99 as part of Dell’s Green Monday series include Dead Rising 3 – Apocalypse Edition, Kinect Sports Rivals, and Sunset Overdrive – Day One Edition, all of which are also available for $10 to $20 off full pricing and come with a $25 Dell Promo eGift Card.

All told, Dell’s Green Monday specials are a godsend to anyone who had been wondering where the game discounts were on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. During those days, we saw myriad deals on the Xbox One, with various retailers offering bundles at discounted prices, or with gift cards, but few truly interesting deals on current and popular games. But Dell isn’t the only retailer that’s got something for Xbox One gamers on Green Monday – GameStop also had its share of deals lately and the good news is that they’re still up in place today.

Xbox One gamers can purchase NBA 2K15 for $49.99 and Destiny for $39.99 – that’s $10 and $20 respectively off the original price of $59.99, and these two games happen to be extremely new, having gotten released in October (NBA 2K15) and September (Destiny). You can also pick up physical copies of Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition, Forza Motorsport 5 – Racing Game of the Year, Ryse: Son of Rome Legendary Edition, Sunset Overdrive, and Metro Redux for $39.99, albeit with no gift card included as a sweetener to the deal. But take note that the operative word above is “physical” – these are games sold in disc form that need to be inside the Xbox One when you’re playing them. That also means you won’t be able to share them digitally with your friends, though the advantage here is that they won’t take up much space on your Xbox One, as you’ll be playing them with the disc inside.
