Recent insider news has leaked some of the latest features of the Google Pixel 9 Pro. Should you have followed Pixel News over the past few years, you are probably aware of Google’s notoriously poor secrecy when it comes to details regarding upcoming devices. Just a few months had passed since the Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 series leaks, now the Pixel 9 series is following suit.
We have received official renderings of the impending Google Pixel 9 & Google Pixel 9 Pro, along with some additional information we can infer from them, and “only” 8 to 10 months to go until its release. All the information regarding the recently leaked Google Pixel 9 Pro is available here.
Google Pixel 9 Pro Render Leak- Key Observations
The latest leaks originate from MySmartPrice and OnLeaks, and the first thing we notice right away is that Google has replaced the curved back edges with sharp-looking ones. When compared to the Pixel 8 Pro, it also seems as though the bezels have been slightly lowered, making the Google Pixel 9 Pro appear thinner.
In addition to being revamped, the rear camera bar on this Pixel is not as long as it was on earlier models. Now, it resembles the Pixel Fold in appearance, except for a noticeably curved module that serves as the camera setup’s bezel. Along with the flash, the module appears to contain an internal temperature sensor, that Google will likely keep.
So #FutureSquad… Just like every year for almost a decade, I'm bringing you once again the very first and very early look at #Google's next Flagship!😏

The SIM card slot is now shifted from the right edge of the USB-C connector to the bottom, although the volume and power controls are still on the right side. The above rumored Google Pixel 9 Pro renders show that the top also houses an mmWave antenna marking and a microphone.
Google Pixel 9 Pro- What would it look like?
In addition, the rumor implies that the Google Pixel 9 Pro’s screen would be 6.5 inches rather than the 6.7 inches of the Pixel 8 Pro. Nevertheless, given that the Google Pixel 9 Pro and 8 Pro have nearly identical dimensions, this should probably be an error.
The front hasn’t changed all that much to support a smaller screen; instead, it now resembles the iPhone 8 Pro. Compared to the 8 Pro variant, the 9 Pro measures 0.3 mm thinner. What do you think of the Pixel 9 Pro’s design based on the leaks? Which design aesthetic—curved or sharp—do you prefer? Tell us in the space provided for comments below.
